PensionEase Enhancements to Designating Beneficiaries

PSPP is pleased to announce that, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance and improve the retirement process, it is no longer necessary for members who are retiring using the online PensionEase tool to download and complete the beneficiary form. Thanks to this enhancement, members will now be prompted to update their beneficiaries as part of the PensionEase process online. This will give members the opportunity to ensure their beneficiary information is up to date and accurate while they’re applying for their retirement, which will help speed up the process and ensure their account information is current.

This update is available to all new online retirement applications, so if a member initiated the retirement process through PensionEase before June 21, 2025, they will still be prompted to complete and submit the beneficiary form using Document Centre. Members will still be able to update their beneficiaries at any time in Your Pension Profile or by completing a beneficiary form.
